​Yeronga State School has an enrolment of approximately 740 students from Prep to
Year 6. An attached special education unit, the Yeerongpilly Early Childhood Development Program (YECDP) has an enrolment around 100. 

Yeronga State School is an enrolment managed school. Priority goes to children in the catchment area and siblings of students already in the school.  Families of students wishing to enrol in Yeronga State School who live out of catchment are able to complete an Expression of interest form. Out-of-catchment enrolments will be dependent on our capacity and will be offered in order of receipt of paperwork. In other words,  the order of receipt of these forms determine the order in which placements to out of catchment students are offered.

Out-of-catchment enrolments for Prep 2020 will open during the last week in Term 1 2019(Wednesday 3 April 2019). We will only be accepting enrolments lodged in person on that day.  

If enrolling from out-of-catchment, please fill in an Expression of Interest form​  and bring it along on the date advertised for accpetance of EOI applications from 8am.  

We will be accepting electronic lodgements from the day after acceptance of EOI applications in person at the office (i.e. from 4 April 2019). Please email these to our enrolment section:​.

The school‘s population comes from a number of suburbs and includes students from approximately 40 different countries.  In this section you will find information on the enrolment process and specific information for enrolling in prep.
