Yeronga State School has an enrolment of approximately 780 students from
Prep to Year 6. An attached special education unit, the Yeerongpilly Early Childhood Development Program (YECDP) has an enrolment around 100. The school‘s population comes from a number of suburbs and includes students from approximately 35 different countries.
Yeronga State School is an enrolment managed school.
Priority goes to enrolling children who reside within the school catchment area and siblings of students already in the school. Families of students wishing to enrol in Yeronga State School who live out-of-catchment are able to complete an expression of interest (EOI) form. Out-of-catchment enrolments will be dependent on our capacity and will be offered in order of receipt of the EOI application form.
The enrolment process for families residing within the catchment area involves completing and submitting an enrolment application form to the school office (in person or email
enrolments@yerongass.eq.edu.au). Enrolment applications can be made at anytime of the year.
Please make sure that you submit a copy of your child's birth certificate as well as 2 proof of residency documents as evidence for your in-catchment application.
The
out-of-catchment enrolments process involves completing an Expression of interest form (DOCX, 86KB), and copies of your child's birth certificate and 2 proof of residency documents and emailing the form to our enrolment section at enrolments@yerongass.eq.edu.au.
EOI application details will be place on an expressions of interest list in date/time order of receipt of applications. The list is reviewed throughout the year and enrolment offers are made if places are available. We recommend emailing in your applications.

Will open on Monday May 20 2024 from 8.00am.
Please note only applications send from 8.00am will be considered as this is a strict starting point.
Please make sure you have a copy of your child's birth certificate (or passport) and 2 x proof of residency when submitting your application.
Years 1–6
Can be made at anytime of the year.
Please include copies of your child's birth certificate, most recent report cards and two proof of residency documents.
