Guidance Officer and Speech Pathologist AVT

Referrals are also made through the classroom teachers to the special needs committee to access the services of Education Queensland visiting guidance officer and speech pathologist. If a parent feels that their child is in need of extra support, the parent should, in the first instance, communicate with their child’s teacher

The special needs committee meets regularly to prioritise referrals and monitor the progress of students who are accessing these services.
