Many of the children attending Yeronga State School live locally and choose to walk or ride their bikes to school. Our school features a 2-minute drop off zone on Park Road which operates before and after school each day.
A Brisbane City Council bus service operates from outside the school on Park Road. Students can also catch the train to Yeronga station on the Beenleigh line which is a short walk from the school.
Yeronga State School is an Active School Travel school. The program promotes road safety and sustainable and healthy travel modes such as walking, cycling, scootering, carpooling and public transport.
