Current year enrolments
For current year enrolments you can enrol your child at any time during the year. Please note that we are an enrolment-managed school and there may not be a place for your child if you live outside the catchment area. Please read our Enrolment Management Plan (in the related links) for further information.
Please make sure you have:
- a copy of your child's birth certificate (or passport)
- 2 x proof of residency when submitting your application.
If your child has already attended school and you are wanting to transfer please submit the most recent school report card with your application.

If within catchment, please download our Enrolment application form (PDF, 2.6MB) (refer to related links section for enrolment package) or contact the school office on (07) 3426 0333. Enrolments can be dropped into the school office or emailed to enrolments@yerongass.eq.edu.au.
Out-of-catchment enrolments
If out-of-catchment, please fill in an
Expression of interest form (DOCX, 86KB) and email to
enrolments@yerongass.eq.edu.au. You will be placed on a waiting list and offered a place only if we have spare capacity. Places will be offered in order of receipt.

Out-of-catchment enrolments
For Prep out-of-catchment enrolments, we will only accept expressions of interest (EOI) applications Expression of interest form (DOCX, 86KB) for the next year's enrolments on or after the opening date.
Prep 2025 enrolments
EOI applications will be accepted electronically from 8.00am on Monday 20th May 2024. Please note only applications received from 8.00am will be considered as this is a strict starting point. EOI applications can be emailed to enrolments@yerongass.eq.edu.au. Your details will be placed on a waiting list and offered a place only if we have spare capacity. Places will be offered in order of receipt.
Prep information session
Our Prep information sessions are an opportunity for parents and carers to learn about our school and how our Prep teachers make the first year of school special.
Prep 2025 Tour and Information Sessions will be held on August 5th 2024 at 4.00pm in the Curiosity Centre, all are welcome.
Years 1–6 out-of-catchment enrolment
We ask that you first submit an expression of interest (EOI) application, with all supporting documentation listed above and you will be placed on a waiting list in order of receipt. Years 1–6 EOI will be accepted at any time of the year. If vacancies exist towards the end of that year, then places will be offered to those on the waiting list (strictly in order of receipt).

if your child was born overseas, their current passport and visa

if you are transferring from another school, a recent student report card

proof of address (2 items) showing you live within the catchment. Refer to Proof of Residency Requirements information sheet (related links on the right).
Note, if you have another child enrolled at the school or you live outside the catchment area and have been offered a place, you will not need to provide proof of residency.
At the enrolment interview we will provide you with information about uniforms and school processes. Importantly, we will ensure your child has the support around them to settle in to our school community.
