Guided by the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0, our Prep to Year 6 conceptual curriculum is built around the enduring themes of Belonging, Connection, Discovery and Contribution, providing students with meaningful opportunities to explore big ideas that connect learning across subjects and to the world around them.
Our approach combines explicit teaching with opportunities for students to develop curiosity and deep understanding. Through explicit instruction, teachers provide clear learning intentions, carefully sequenced lessons, guided practice and purposeful feedback to build the strong knowledge and skills every student needs for success.
As students develop these strong foundations, they are encouraged to think deeply, ask meaningful questions and make connections across their learning. Through rich learning experiences, students build deep knowledge of important concepts, investigate authentic problems and apply their understanding in meaningful ways.
